Like the popular previous GIANT KILLING LONG FALL model, the length remains the same at 7'8''. However, the blank is an upgraded design of the previous one, making it more powerful. The rod rating has increased for more power to fight fish with Power 4 ~ 6 class.

The Long Fall series is the most versatile rod and highly underrated in the MCA catalog. The technique is simple and essential when locating fish. The advantage of the length of 7'8" length allows for maximum lift and flutter time. This is ideal when using jigs or flutter spoons to entice fish that doesn't bite to normal action.

This technique of long fall is a variation of high pitch and slow pitch. 

The moderate action and tremendously strong backbone allow the rod to be used for bottom fishing. It excels with sinker rigs to jigging bucktails in Nantucket for DD fluke.
